50
5.9Saved ViewsOnce users have applied all necessary filters to their mark book to view the important data they need, they will not want to have to re-apply these filters every single time they need to revisit the data. As a result, users must be able to save these applied filters to a specific view, so that they are able to re-apply these filters with a single action. As a user, I want to save all the applied filters to the mark book as a view, so that I am able to revisit the data using these filters with a single action.
51
5.1.0Freeze ColumnsWhen viewing student results, users may want to compare between columns which are located in different areas of the mark book. We want to make this as easy as possible to allowing certain columns to freeze in place as the user scrolls through the columns in the mark book. As a user, I want to freeze certain columns from moving in the mark book as I navigate through columns, so that I can easily compare results between columns located in different areas of the mark book.
52
5.11Zoom In & Zoom OutVery often, teachers and staff are updating and viewing the mark books on a laptop, which can be difficult to see. The mark book should allow users to zoom in and zoom out to adjust the sizing of the columns and marks in their view.As a user, I want to zoom in and zoom out my view of the mark book, so that I can adjust the sizing of my view to see it easier.
53
5.12Clear All FiltersWhen many filters have been applied to a mark book, there needs to be a way to clear all the applied filters with a single action to revert the mark book view to it’s default state (no filters applied). As a user, I want to clear all of the applied filters in my mark book, so that I can quickly revert the mark book to its default state.
54
5.13Filter by Empty CellsWhen preparing mark books for reports, HODs want to easily identify which students have missing marks so that they know who needs an estimated mark/needs to be followed up on to input a mark. As a Head of Department, I want to identify which students have missing marks from an assessment task, so that I can investigate why it is empty, and input a mark.
55
5.14Horizontal Scroll with Frozen ColumnsUsers must be able to see all the columns within the mark book while seeing the student information against the marks. As a user, I want to be able to navigate across all columns in the mark book, so that I am able to view the data further on in the mark book.

62
6.4Grade Summary ReportUsers need to be able to generate a report which shows them the grade cut-offs across all course lines in a course (cohort) and percentage of students for each grade. This report allows users to analyse the number of grades distributed to students, and make any grade cut-off changes that may need to be made in each course. As a teacher, I want to view the grades received by students across all courses in a subject, so that I am able to check the distribution of these grades.
63
As a teacher, I want to see the percentage of students that received each grade across all courses in a subject, so that I am able to check the distribution of these grades.
64
6.5Print Student Notes When giving feedback during parent/teacher interviews, it is helpful for teachers to have student notes printed to reference directly. As a result, users must be able to print individual notes for a specific student, or all the notes of all students in a class or in the course line. As a teacher, I want to print out the notes for a specific student, so that I am able to access the notes offline.
65

68
7.2Restore to VersionThe mark book must have the ability to restore changes to a previous version based on the changes tracked in the mark book audit. As a user of a mark book, I want to restore my mark book to a previous version, so that I am able to revert the changes made after that version to remove my mistakes.
69
7.3Lock Down SnapshotA mark book is locked down to protect the data from any changes when reports are being generated. A snapshot must be taken of the mark book at the point that it is locked down and stored in SIS as archival material. As a Head of Department, I want a snapshot of the mark book I have locked down to be sent to Education Cloud, so that the version of the mark book which was reported on can be archived and revisited.
70
8Security8.1User Logins & CredentialsEvery user who has access to the mark book must have valid credentials that they must enter into the system to log in. The definition of a password must adhere to the school's password rules, and the user name must be a school email. As a school, I want all users who have access to the mark book to have valid credentials that they must enter into the system to log in, so that the data within the mark book is only accessible to authorised users.
71
8.2Login Time OutsIf a user has a mark book open, and has not committed any actions in the mark book for an extended amount of time, the user must be automatically logged out of the mark book. This is to ensure that student data is not exposed for long periods of time.As a school, I want users to be automatically logged out of the mark book if no actions have been committed for a specific period of time, so that the student data in the mark book is not exposed for long periods of time.
72
8.32 Factor AuthenticationThe mark book must utilise 2 factor authentication to allow users to log into the platform. The school staff currently uses RSA Authenticator for this, and ideally the mark book would also utilise this authenticator. As a school, I want the mark book to utilise 2 Factor Authentication when logging users into the mark book, so that the mark book’s security is strengthened.
73
RSA Authenticator
